A couple of posts ago, G and I decided to challenge ourselves to finding recipes that were under £1 a serving for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We spent the weekend researching recipes, buying and prepping food for it and started this Monday just gone.
Grab & Go bagel = 43p. 339 calories
Chicken noodle soup = 61p. 183 calories
Spaghetti Bolognese = 41p. 236 calories.
Total for the day = £1.45. 758 calories.
I had enough calorie and money allowance to have half of my chicken, cheese and salad snack pot at work.
Chicken, cheese and salad = 63p. 185 calories.
Total for the day = £2.08. 943 calories.
